About Me

Hi! I'm Zuzana, from Slovakia, currently living in Prague. Currently.. maybe for ever, I too love Prague and my friends there. I found my base camp where I feel safe, but the aim is the world :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It helps me to connect with people with similar values...
In 2015 during one adventure I tried sleeping in a tent for 1st time.. and also CS for 1st time and I fell in love... such an easy going minded Bianca was! and strong, self-confident, positive woman! So, that is the reason - because it changed my life in a very good way :) )

Interests

travelling, getting to know new people, languages (horrible at them, but I like learning them and maybe once...who knows), tea... tea, and tea, hiking everywhere (the favourite range is the High Tatras)... and baking :) and cycling! and playing flute (i started again after a decade. Music gives your mind so much freedom, so I have became addicted to this feeling ) .. and teaching the things i know :) (at university)

Music, Movies, and Books

.a little bit of everything, jazz, ska.... also a bit of metal from my younger age... and Leonard Cohen!
I like short or unknown films at film festivals (Summer film school in Uherské Hradiště in Czech republic, come, that is a perfect place!)
I LOVE books... fantasy a little bit, The Wicher, Malazan book of the Fallen - Steven Erikson and then (maybe suprisingly) I like Slovak and Czech literature of 20th century. Jean-Paul Sartre - his stories (surprised by the other ones, not only The Wall). Andre Maurois - Climates. Benjamin Kuras (CZ), And funny stories about mauntines - Bujón v šumienke (Slovak book).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A friend of mine and I were once texting about our mendatory internship and I said, half as a joke half seriously, that we could go to the Republic of South Africa... and the next day, she said" no RSA, but I have found a nice hospital in Sri Lanka"...
So we went there to see giving birth to SriLankan babies :)

But maybe I remember the best measuring trees in primary forests in Slovakia :D thoe people I met there, I would not met anywhere else. We were together for 20 days and DEFINITELY, if I could, I woud go for it again.

And last year I sewed a linen skirt as the 1st piece of clothing I have ever finished.

What I Can Share with Hosts

good mood, evening talks, company outside, company during walking/cycling/hiking... and this summer I took place at a course of clasic massages (and we had some clients as well), so a professional massage :)
