ABOUT ME

I love travelling! I spent an amazing year in Sheffield, UK participating in Erasmus programme several years ago. When I came back to Prague, I lived with students from America as their 'Czech buddy' so I was living kind of an Erasmus life in my city.
Since then I have started doing PhD. in digital image processing and I am also interested in deep learning. PhD. life enables travelling around the world not only in my free time but also for conferences.

Interests

I love outdoor sports like rock climbing, mountaineering, hiking, caving, kayaking, windsurfing, surfing.. Travelling as well, of course. And chocolate.

Music, Movies, and Books

music: open minded, almost everything, depends on mood. Currently discovering English music as Arctic Monkeys, Editors and Joy Division.

books: unfortunately mostly maths textbooks, but with a resolution of reading more beletry:)

movies: i should write something like: I like movies which make me think. This is true just sometimes. Otherwise - better not to know (silly romantic comedies, hollywood blockbusters, Harry Potter:)..)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing on seacliffs in Gogarth, Wales, UK and then in Vietnam in Ha Long Bay. Thunderstorm in the Alps, Austria.
