Sobre Mim

Hello!

I am a business student in Prague, former Erasmus student, a member of guitar orchestra and simply a young girl who wants to travel and get to know the world by seeking for new adventures.

I am an easy-going and friendly person who enjoys the little things happening every day. Such as a nice cup of coffee with a cake (possibly chocolate one), sitting outside, drinking wine and laughing about silly jokes with friends, watching my favourite TV series, lightining up a fragrant candle, the feeling when I try to achieve something and I finally succeed or when I smile at people and they smile back.

I am quite ambitious and hard-working and I am always trying to find something new which keeps me busy. I believe people achieve what they want by taking advantage of new opportunities no matter how difficult and scary they seem to be.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

During this year I have visited a lot of new places, met great people and discovered the beauty of traveling and sharing experience.
Thanks to using "covoiturage" or Blablacar I met different kinds of people with whomI had some interesting conversations and it was much more fun then using trains or buses. This inspired me a lot to join this community.
As everybody here, I do enjoy meeting different people and getting to know different cultures. It is fascinating to discover a place by locals' poit of view which you usually cannot find in travel guides.

Interesses

Of course, I love traveling!
I like winter sports, riding a bike and playing tennis even though I am not really good at it.
I love music, especially because I play in a guitar orchestra from Prague (for those who hear about guitar orchestra for the first time, it is basically 20 classical guitars playing together, both classical and popular songs)
I enjoy eating good food (trying local food is usually part of trips), discovering interesting events and places to go, singing (mainly alone when nobody hears me), sleeping, going to cinema and theatre and drinking czech beer.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I listen to all kinds of different music, depends on my mood and a situation.
I listen to older music such as Elvis, Johny Cash, Simon and Garfunkel, Beatles, ... but I also like Adele, ZAZ, Sam Smith, John Newman, Passenger, Avicii, Ed Sheeran, Fun, George Ezra, Ellie Goulding, Parov Stelar, OneRepublic, Jason Mraz, Foster the People... When I study or do someting I need to focus, I tend to listen to classical, jazz music or just some acoustic guitars.
I love going to cinema and I can't really list all movies I liked. But the onces which are my favourites are probably Intouchables, Serial (Bad) Weddings, Grand Hotel Budapest, Midnight in Paris and Vicky Cristina Barcelona. I like also cartoons such as Madagascar, Tangled, Hotel Transylvania or Frozen.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

I believe there are always amazing things happening but so far I consider my decision to go abroad as the best thing I have ever done. I finally stayed in France for 11 months, studying two semesters at Business school (one in English, one in French) and then obtaining and performing a great internship as an assistant at International department which enabled me to travel through 4 countries and coordinate 25 American students during their summer school across Europe. It was such a great experience!

Ensine, Aprenda, Compartilhe

I can teach you a czech language! (At least some basics) It is truly different and hard language to learn but there is not that many people who can speak czech and you can amaze others just with "Ahoj" which means "Hello". And as soon as you pronounce "Strč prst skrz krk" you can consider yourself as a native :)
There are always things to learn and I am willing to try anything which seems interesing for me, so all suggestions accepted!
