ABOUT ME

I'm kind of normal person born in Ljubljana, Slovenia. After gymnasium decided to study mechanical engineering. And I don't regret this decision. While studying and living in Ljubljana, I used to perform in an amateur theater group called "Artizani", I had been rowing in University of Ljubljana rowing team, participating and organizing AEGEE (European student organisation) events, helping in a camp for people with cerebral paralysis. I also play an accordion although because of lack of time I can't do it as often as I would want to.

In a schoolyear 2011/12 I took part at an Erasmus student exchange in Munich during which I also graduated. Immediately afterwards I found I job here and decided to stay. Working life was great, but I got an offer I could not refuse - to become a PhD student at my home university and develop a high-efficient car-engine.

I like to enjoy time with interesting people around me. I love travelling and meeting new people and cultures. Living in a foreign country seemed like a logical step within that mission. Moving abroad again is definitely not excluded.

During my stay in Germany, I have been hosted and have hosted myself many friends, acquaintances and random guests (within CS and other smaller networks)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Best CS moment as a host: During Oktoberfest in Munich we had a whole bunch of fun people from all over Europe sleeping at our place.

Best CS Moment as a guest: Staying in Hamburg with an incredibly nice couple in their inspiring home at the outskirts of the city.
