ABOUT ME
Hello, my name is Anna. When a friend described me once she wrote "curious & crazy (with the strengh and discipline to get the things I'm dreaming of)". Yep, that's me!
PHILOSOPHY
I try to learn as much as I can about myself, other people, and the world in general. I find that helps with finding a way in life... I also do a lot of surfing on the internet and staring out of windows in between ;)I don't feel like citing a brand of philosophy, but if pressed I have been known to refer to Sheldon B. Kopp. He wrote a wonderful book called "If you meet the Buddha on the road, kill him!"

Music, Movies, and Books
I read a lot of fiction... like Margaret Atwood, Philip K. Dick, Henry James, Christa Wolf, Virgina Woolf, John Irving, Kurt Vonnegut and many others. I also read non-fiction (I love biographies! The last biography I read was of Alice B. Sheldon/James Tiptree) and I wish I read more poetry. As for movies, I've only turned into a movie fan recently, after taking a course in film analysis. So right now I'm trying to see all the Hollywood Classics ("Once upon a time in the West" was great, and I liked "Singin in the Rain" so much better than I expected).
Music is not really important to me right now, but I definitely enjoy it. Last concert I went to: Amanda Palmer. I listen to Nina Simone as well as The Smiths or The Knife or classical music, you never know what I might like :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I love beautiful sceneries. Best sight ever: The mountains and woods around Kirishima on the island of Kyushu/Japan where I was wwoofing a few years ago.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've just completed my training as an Art & Design teacher and I have diverse skills in that area. For example, I could teach you how to paint with oil colors, help you find your way around Photoshop and Illustrator, or show you how to make pottery in a woodfire.
What I want to learn... We'll, there's a lot! At the moment I would like to learn some programming, how to make stone tools (and other survival techniques), and how to drive a car.
