ABOUT ME

The two of us first met in 2004. We liked each other from the very first moment, sharing a great sense of humor and passion towards our work and occupation.For our wedding party in 2007 we asked our friends to bring us things they connect with joy in life and we got the most wonderful collection ranging from fine wine and food over flying vouchers, juggling balls, spiritual music to invitations for massages and dance courses. Turned out to be a great idea.
In 2006 we moved together into a wonderful spacious flat centrally located. We love cinema, going to the movies at least once a week, theatre, art exhibitions, dancing as well as enjoying nature in the surroundings of Berlin. Coming from families with lots of funny stories we like to share our experiences with people.
As therapists working constantly with people from all different walks of life we are very comfortable meeting new people and building stable relationships.

PHILOSOPHY

Christine: I want to stay flexible and open to new experiences, cause they keep us alive.

Rolf: I do believe that every man or woman has the capacity to grow, either personally, mentally,or spiritually. In my job as a psychotherapist it is amazing and makes me happy to see how people grow, develop and how they set themselves free.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Immediately after we joined the platform in the beginning of 2010 we went to N.Y. and stayed with two different hosts. We experienced two very different neighbourhoods and had very good conversations. Back in Berlin we have been hosting regularly and enjoyed it each time - amazing what you learn about other people and their countries. We are both very curious - one reason why we work as therapists I suppose (just a joke!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The wild nature of Australia is something I will never forget. Experiencing Africa, the people in Mozambik, how they cope with hard circumstance in life with joy and brave hearts. Floating in the dead Sea.
