I'm a 27 year old gal with two passports (Canadian & American) and I try to use them as much as I can! I'm friendly, pretty easygoing, I laugh a lot and constantly stop to pet dogs (in basically any country - rabies be damned!)

I believe it's important to step outside your comfort zone and challenge yourself on a regular basis, and I try to do that whenever possible. It might be scary but it's usually worth it!

After traveling/working/volunteering around the world for the past 4 years, I'm finally back 'home' in Vancouver, BC.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is awesome to incorporate into your travel plans. It's more than just free accommodation; it gives you the opportunity to make new friends and learn about a country from a local's perspective :) I have only surfed a few times but I have had great experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It wasn't exactly 'amazing' but my travel experience that stands out the most was when I visited an active landmine field in Cambodia. I met a team of de-miners, who are hands down the bravest people I have ever met and for whom I have the upmost respect. They risk their lives every day by finding and destroying land mines, in order to make Cambodia a safer place.
