Música, películas y libros
I like pretty much of everything. I like hard rock, but enjoy rap, oldies, and country. I could do with some more jazz every once and a while.
Algo increíble que he hecho
I was lucky enough to climb the Grand Teton with my father when I was 13. I felt like I could see the world.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I just learned the other day that the time changes (time zones) within the united states was based on the advancements of the Railroad. The need to know exactly when a train was leaving, and from where was extremely crucial, because multiple trains were on the same tracks, and could very well be going in opposite directions. This was doubly important, because the train was in existence prior to the telegraph, which was enabled primarily because of the tracks being laid. Meaning, there was no way of communication faster than the train itself. (Logistics nightmare) People who traveled often, would have two watches, one for their home, and one for the "train's" time. In fact, each company kept their own "time". It was the standardization for the sake of safety and usage, which brought about the time zones we see today. --Pretty cool! I am paraphrasing of course...from NPR!
