About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
[updated 12/30/2018] I heard about CS from a school friend in 2009 while studying in Italy. At the time, I thought it was a crazy idea. Now it's 2018, and I still think this is crazy. I am super thankful my friend made the suggestion to me. I think CS is one of the most amazing things ever invented. I've made some good memories and great friends from this platform that would not be possible otherwise. I hope CS will still be around when I am 70. :) Like many, I hope to share and share as much as I can with the world and others who are curious and brave enough to step out of their comfort zone.
Interests
I like sports a lot - basketball, American football, badminton, and baseball. Traveling. Like most CSers, this is pretty much a given. When traveling, however, I like to meet locals and try to have an authentic experience. I am a big Pokemon fan, and I do own a small, but growing, collection of Pokémon TCG. In 2019, I hope to continue my studies of Spanish and Chinese. I am trying to become a bit more proficient at photography and videography. In photography, I hope to gain more experience shooting events and portraits, then possibly into something more. What interests me about photography in particular is that there are stories and conversations behind each photograph beyond just the technical aspect. That is quite beautiful.

Made some real genuine friends - people whom I would entrust my life with - through the internet.
What I Can Share with Hosts
At the least, my smile and upbeat attitude. I could definitely share a bit about home improvements, Chinese culture, sports, my traveling experiences, and maybe a little life advice. Haha, at least I think I can give some decent life advice.
