ABOUT ME

Currently living in London working for a clinical trials company - i'm in a very tiny flat in Kilburn, and I recently changed my profile up 'can host' but it turns out I was being overly optimistic, my hours have just gone back up and my shifts are really varied, do it turns out it's not really possible to host :( but if I'm free I'd still be very up for meeting for drinks/showing you around the city :)

Anyway,
I'm pretty relaxed, but not the type to lie about in the sun for tooo long, as i'm one of 'those people' that alternate between being almost translucent and red and crispy. I would much rather be up and doing things during the day, drinking coffee and people watching :)
At night i'm happy to go out and party, sit round a campfire talking of nothing and everything or just mellow out and watch a dvd....

Speaking of which, I just built a fire pit in our garden. great for marshmallows :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've had a few couch surfers, who were lovely - i'm glad i've finally had some people to stay! But i've moved around a lot, so it's been hard to have any one stay recently.

But i'm in London for the summer, so fingers crossed i'll be able to participate a little more!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with some lovely guys in Belgium, and some lovely girls in Portland, and a whole house full of lovely people (also in Portland).
This really is the best way to meet people abroad!

Interessen

dreaming, reading, waterskiing, drinking, campfires and fairytales.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

-Movies/TV
anything from 'gone in 60 seconds' to 'lord of the rings' to 'save the last dance'.
and TV wise, got to love Game of Thrones, but also things like Archer or greys anatomy!

-Books
Current favourite is 'girl with the pearl earring'.
Reading it for the 4th time, love it :)

-Music...Anything..Honestly. I am musically ignorant!
I don't reallly have any preference - but I believe that music should bring out some emotion, whether it be happiness, misery, excitement etc etc
As long as music is making me feel SOMETHING, it's all good with me :)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

The view from the top of the glacier in Whistler is pretty amazing...
and the giant douglas fir forest in Canada was really humbling...
Hopefully by the end of this year i'll be able to add to the list!
