About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to understand my role in this universe.

ABOUT ME

I am a young venezuelan physician who likes to travel and meet new people. I'm pursuing a master's degree in endocrinology. I enjoy reading, playing videogames, listening to music (rock, jazz, oldies), playing guitar, eating, and living new experiences. I'm a history and literature enthusiast, so I like to visit museums, parks, cafes, bars, and landmarks. I consider myself outgoing, kind, and friendly.

PHILOSOPHY

To me, life is a long learning experience. I love to learn lots of stuff, from every field known to humankind. I know I'll be learning until the very last day of my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Actually, I'm new to CS. I'm looking to start making friends from all over the world while travelling.

I will be traveling to Europe on April-May 2013 along with Myrza Ramírez and her profile is http://www.couchsurfing.org/profile.html?id=5GY5W5R3F&from_search&search_ranking_hosts=1

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far. Soon: a lot (I hope!)

Interests

I like to watch independent and foreign films, study new languages, read scientific and Latin-American literature, play the guitar, listen -mostly, but not limited to- rock and jazz music, hang out with my family and my friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Book writers: J.R.R. Tolkien, Haruki Murakami, Gabriel García Márquez, Julio Cortázar, Edgar Allan Poe.

Music: Coheed and Cambria, Green Day, The Cure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm a physician, so I've seen people extremely ill or dying, as well as babies being born, and it always sweeps me off my feet. The idea of how fragile life is overwhelms me and motivates me to enjoy and not waste a single day of my own life.
Also, I'm kind of afraid of heights, but I tried hang-gliding once and it was pretty awesome! I'd definitely try something like that again.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Aruba, Austria, Canada, Chile, Colombia, France, Germany, Italy, Panama, United States
