About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet new people and learn about diferentes cultures.

ABOUT ME

I'm a Brazilian girl living back in my hometown after living for some time in Spain. I'm a very adventurous, easy going, curious and open minded person, and I always focus on the bright side of every experience. I try to learn about the soul of the cities, walking through its streets, watching the everyday differences in its details and in its people. I have a true passion for the unknown. I may say that traveling is the only thing that really fulfils my soul.

PHILOSOPHY

"What you seek is seeking you". Rumi

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I said, traveling is my biggest passion, and I think the best part of it is meeting people around the world, sharing experiences and even traveling through people's relates and points of view.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Traveling, hosting and hanging out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCES

I had great experiences and met wonderful people (directly or not) through CS. CS has shown me how good and full of generous people the world is, despite all the tragic headlines on the newspapers.

Interests

I'm interested in a lot of things, like arts, music, literature, politics, human rights, theater, cinema, series, norse mythology, shamanism, astrology, conspiracy theories and geek stuff in general.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Symphonic/Progressive Metal, 60s Rock, Trance, and I'm also a true ethusiatic of the brazilian music.

Movies: I absolutely love every movie directed by David Lynch, Kubrick and Tarantino. I especially like documentaries and musicals too.

Books: I obviously love Harry Potter. But some of my favorite authors are Herman Hesse, Tolkien, Aldous Huxley, Carlos Castaneda, Anne Rice, Isabel Allende, Eduardo Galeano, Gabriel Garcia Marquez (actually the list is infinite). I have not been reading enough fiction lately, so non-academic reading has been mostly around, Foucault, Bauman, and Zizek, I guess.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We can talk about it (:

Teach, Learn, Share

A good talk, knowledge and experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I might teach some survival phrases in portuguese (just in case you're plannning to visit Brazil someday, what I really recommend) and something about the brazilian/south american culture. I'd also enjoy sharing beliefs, philosophies, life experiences and stories.

Andorra, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Peru, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Uruguay, Vatican City State
