About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meeting foreigners, sharing culture and food!
ABOUT ME
Graduated from Arizona State University in 2014 and starting my career in Finance and Accounting at Honeywell Aerospace. In March 2016, my whole life flipped! I left my hometown and moved to Minneapolis to join General Mills. Still working on building my network outside of the office and looking for friends to help me explore the city and culture.
I love singing, playing guitar/piano (not very good yet), cooking and working out.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have never couch surfed before. I usually prefer to stay at international hostels when I travel. In Arizona, my friend hosted couch surfers almost once a month and I loved meeting the surfers! Before, I always had roommates that were never comfortable with the idea of hosting. Now that I'm living on my own, I can finally start inviting guests!
Interests
Bike rides, walking, public transit, singing, acoustic, music, musicals, theater, concerts, languages, craft beer, parks, lakes, youtubing.
Music, Movies, and Books
Top 40, old school R&B, all acoustic music with a great voice. Top favorite artists: Missy Elliot, Josh Groban, Michael Buble, Adele, John Legend, Mariah Carey, Rihanna, Beyonce.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived and studied abroad in Madrid Spain in Fall 2011. Since then, I've made 2 trips back to Europe to visit my European friends in Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, and the Netherlands.
Teach, Learn, Share
TEACH- I can help you with singing- breath support, vowel placement, song selection.
LEARN- I'm interested in learning of new cultures and possibly adding some places to my list of future vacation destinations. If you want to help me practice my Spanish, I would love that! Funny German or Danish words are welcome too!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my time and space to help you explore Minneapolis.
