About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Broaden my horizons and meet awesome people

ABOUT ME

I am always trying something new and stepping outside of my comfort zone. I love meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. I am always trying to make a positive dent in the world. I'm also called the funny guy and if the mood hits me, I'll just start dancing (poorly) at any place.

PHILOSOPHY

There are more good people in this world than bad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't done it yet. My best friend told me this was the place to meet awesome people.

Interests

Experiencing new things whether it is meeting new people, trying new food, performing in front of a crowd, or watching something original and unique. I love to learn what passions other people have and what drives them to pursue it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into action, fantasy, mystery, and comedy as far as movies and books go. I listen to all kinds of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 12 years old I visited Bermuda. Upon leaving the airport there was this older man at a roundabout waving at all the cars and saying "Good day! Hello! How are you! Welcome!" and other positive sayings. The taxi driver had stated that this man does this all day every day and has been doing it for years and nobody is paying him to do it! At that time I learned that doing something as small as waving at somebody and saying hello could completely change somebody's day. The last news I heard about this man was that a statue had been erected at the very spot he greets everybody.

I used to run out of a fire station as a Lead Emergency Medical Technician for a few years and one of the most memorable good calls I had was a call at around 3:00am where an elderly man had fallen out of his bed. When I got at the house, his wife had stated that her husband had fallen out of their bed and she could not pick him up. With the help of my crew, we had picked up the gentleman and placed him on the bed. The memorable experience of this call was the absolute gratitude and thanks that the husband and wife gave us. Knowing that they woke us up to help them in such a small task meant the world to them. No task is too small if it helps somebody out!
