ABOUT ME

I am 30 years old. I have a BA in education science and a Masters in Educational Sociology. I talk a lot, and I love to discuss almost all subjects. when I was 12 years old, I was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy. When I was 16, i had to use an electric wheelchair. It was a hard time for me to get used to sitting in a wheelchair, but it gave me a whole new perspective on life. I've really learned that life must be lived as we have it. I believe that all the people I meet in my life, can teach me something. I believe that we humans must learn from each other, and I believe that prejudice must be broken down by meeting each other where we are.

PHILOSOPHY

One smile leads to another

Nice to know:
My couch is in the living room that is also where my kitchen is and my handicaphelper has to pass the room if she needs to go to the toilet.

Because of my disability, I am dependent on others help, all day long. Therefore, I have a handicaphelper to help me with everything from cooking, give me clothes on, help me out of my bed in the morning, help me in the shower, driving my car, etc.

So if you sleep at my couch there wil also be a handicaphelper in the apartment and some of my helpers is not comfortable having couchsurfers around and therefore i sometimes need to say no, to some of you how like to stay at my apparment, because I have different helpers everyday. My home is also a workplace and for that I am both grateful and tired of, because it's not only my needs how i need to take care of it's also my helpers. I like all my handicaphelpers and I respect their different limits.
