About Me

I am a young artist & curator from Buenos Aires who absolutely loves to travel and enjoys meeting new people and learning new languages.
I used to work as a yoga teacher but now I only practice it a few times every week. I play music and work on several artistic projects in my city both as an artist and a curator.
I also have a daytime job and I'm studying at University.
I have an art collective: http://cargocollective.com/misionera
and I've started to work as an editor on my own art magazine recently: http://cargocollective.com/revista-para-mi

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe travelling is a freedom statement. Hosting and being hosted is a great opportunity to allow other people and allow ourselves to be expanded beyond the limits of our cultures.
Sharing, helping, communicating with others is a great thing.
I am also interested in meeting artists and art collectives from other cities

I`ve hosted people from the Netherlands, France, Brazil and Canada. I have been hosted too!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to read a lot of national young literature and regarding music:

I literally like it all, from very experimental sounds to Britney Spears, Radiohead, Abba, Joy Division, Rolling Stones, The Supremes, Kanye West...
I really enjoy listening to new rock music made by women such as Chastity Belt and Bleached. Also a fan of DIIV, Mac de Marco and Ty Segall
I like old indie like Belle & Sebastian or Camera Obscura
I love classical music specially Debussy and Beethoven
I like reggae and latin sounds as well, totally enjoy reggaeton and cumbia. Old reggae music such as Abyssinians is my favourite I also like Lee Perry and King Tubby
I can listen to punk rock, hardcore and even nü metal (yes, I can)
And last but not least I am going to Island kind of because I am a Sigur Rós fan...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To decide to stay as free as I can forever, to love and not be afraid of it, to travel on my own across Europe when I was 26, to play on bands since I am 15 and not be afraid of being on stage.
To be an artist even though it's weird.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am very interested in language and cultural exchange.
