ABOUT ME

I am curious and enthousiastic. I try to enjoy the moment instead of thinking about the future. I enjoy the small things in live, like going outside in the morning an get the fresh eggs of my chickens. I like impulsive ideas, as not making any plans and hitch hike to where they take me/us. I prefere beeing together with my best friends but i'm interesting in getting to know new people also.
I can be very lazy but if there is something i really want, i can go for it. I'm not a difficult person and always willing to adapt, if necessary.
I would like to see the whole world but i don't think the grass is greener on the other side. So happiness it to find in yourself and not in the place where you live.

PHILOSOPHY

I think there is only more the learn, the more you know the more complex live becomes. But also, the more interesting. Every person has its story worth listening to. Live and happiness is not there where you go search it, it is right here, when you are living your life.
Happiness to me i getting up in the morning and have a whole day left to do the things i like. And off course, people to share this with.
Life is comming and going, and making the best of the part in between. And you have to decide for yourself what the definition of 'the best' is.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about CS years ago. And it really got my interest immediatly. I love to travel but don't like to feel as the stupid tourist who is walking around with his map. So getting to know locals is the best that can happen to a traveller. They now the good places, the cheap things, they tell about the real life. That is why i am member of CS. I only had one expercience but it was a very good one and i hope to enjoy more of this in the future. It's great to see how young people with same interests meet and help eachother to discover many places around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Like i said, i only have one expercience but heard a lot about it. That is why it attracted me. I recommended it to all of my friends.
I was in Valencia with Elodie and Manu and they showed us not only the city where we came for, but also the mountains, the peace and rest of nature. We swam in a hot water river the first evening we got there, and then i immediatly knew it was going to be the best vacation! And it was. They where great hosts!

Interests

I am interested in cultures, in my own to start with; And off course in others as well. At the moment the spanish culture is one who fascinates me the most. I lived there for 4 months in Andalucia and was really impressed about the spanish people. And now i went to Valencia and saw a really other part of Spain. You don't have to travel to the other side of the world to see differences with your own culture. Every small village has its own 'system' to discover.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movies are: There will be blood, Tim Burton films, Pan's labyrint, Almodovar, motorcycle diaries, into the wild, Underground, Black cat white cat, Jamón Jamón, and a lot more wich a can't remember at the moment. Music: Paul Kalkbrenner, Hernan Cattaneo, The raconteurs, Moloko,Camaron, Aphrodite, Melanie,Manu Chao, Joy division, the Doors,John Frusciante, Alborosie, Simon and Garfunkel, Bregovic....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Cuba for a month and became 18 there. I learned more lessons that month then in the 18 years before. That experience made me want to travel more.
