About Me

ABOUT ME

People who know me from school/work/etc. would probably say I'm calm and polite.
People who met me during my travels would probably say I'm spontaneous and easy-going.

I guess it's all true.

I enjoy walking through new places, sinking in meaningful conversations and holding my breath for a beautiful view. I also like to cook and dance, and I'm always looking for company to indulge in those activities!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just starting, actually. Until now I was only hosted by friends or friends of friends. I would like to get my first CS experience so hopefully I'll be ready to become a host myself once I move to a different apartment.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I grew on Tolkien, Terry Pratchett and Philip K. Dick. Now the range is wider, but consist more of individual books rather than authors.
Music: one of my greatest loves. There are too many bands and artists to list (for some clue you can check my profile at http://www.lastfm.pl/user/hommique) but what clings with me the most is when genres cross paths
Movies: many. I like abstract sense of humour and calm pacing. Oh, and animation and shorts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing another continent from a top of the mountain (Veleta, Spain). Suddenly it made the world so much smaller in my head.
A Saudi who decided to pay for our cross-border taxi just because we were "friends" of his nephew (whom we met just 10 hours earlier). Since then I started to believe people are generally good and friendly.

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Jordan, Lithuania, Macedonia, Netherlands, Portugal, Serbia, Syrian Arab Republic, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
