CURRENT MISSION

From march until july I am discovering Canada with my boyfriend (Marc).

Our mission with that trip is the possibility of calming down a little and coming back to enjoying life and our wonderful planet as we should do more daily.

We are two easygoing people (Student of Engineering and a temporary unemployed educater) looking for some nice and funny locals to hang out and enjoy their city.
Why we want to stay with couchsurfing ? We want to get to know people living in Canada to lean more about their culture, lifestyle, their food ; ) , their hopes and dreams and in generell connecting with others.

ABOUT ME

My friends describe me as a joyfull, funny, sociable, friendly person. I like traveling and discovering new cities, places and cultures.

As I find it Hard to describe myselfe,
I asked my friends what they think about me:
"Julia is the kind of person who would start dancing in the middle of the street in the middle of de night without being drunk"

After ending my Bachelor and working for few years in a institution of education, helping unemployed people finding a job I'm now looking forward to travel again. Marc just finished his Bachelor in engineering, so we took the chance of a bigger journey :)
Coming to Canada for me is kind of a time out from our daily life stuff. Getting to know new people, their stories, this amazing country, remembering what counts in life and maybe finding time to calm down and learning more about myself aswell really makes me curious.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is so much better if you share it with others. That's why I love beeing surrounded by friends and people in general.

And I think everything is happening at least for a reason, so if something 'bad' happens - Cheer up, keep on going and search the good side again!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed in spain some couches and enjoyed it so much!
I can't offer a couch in my home, but i can show people around the town or tell them where to go!

I'm always in for a coffee or beer ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just had good experiences during my trip through Spain!
Always enjoyed all different kinds of people from the couchsurfing community.
In addition to these experiences my home is always open for friends and so I know what it is like to be a host. What by the way is a thing I really like about the life, just traveling and staying at friends places and discover their city.

Interessen

Meeting new people, getting to know other cultures, lifestyles, living to see the nature and cities.

I love talking! Having conversations, long conversations, about nonsens, about serious stuff, life... just about everything what life has to offer.

Although I really like doing sports, especially if it has something to do with snow.

Music is a very important part in my life, so I love singing, listening to music and at the moment I'm trying to teach myself playing the guitar ;)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Uff... not a easy question, but at the moment I would say that the best thing I did in my life was coming to Spain for half a year, because I leared so many things about life, myself and other cultures. And that in the end it doesnt matter at all where you are from or which background you have - its just about people meeting without prejudice and this world would definitely be a better one!
