About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Making a 1 month traveling video and blog with a friend while going through Europe couchsurfing and busking

ABOUT ME

Hopefully someone you'll never forget, I'm a laid-back and outgoing guy, always up for any sort of plan and extremely adaptable to all kinds of environment. Not really judgmental but always spontaneous and straight forward, sometimes a bit too blunt maybe
I have a deadpan sense of humour but hardly ever get to being an asshole or a douchebag
Some people would describe me as being really down to earth but then they'd have to deal with how much dreamlike my earth can be
Above all I'm a lover. Not exactly in the sense that I'm out there breaking marriages apart but rather as opposed to being a hater. I'm really selective about my passions but that is a consequence of the huge enthusiasm and involvement I put in them rather than some destructive urge. Everything can thrill me and every detail counts

PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting and participating in events in Madrid, travelling around Europe. Feel free to buzz me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Started my experience last year, first by guiding an Argentinian girl around Madrid and then by visiting Dublin for 4 days. Both experiences were awesome and i'm really keen on having more and more experiences

Interests

I'm interested in everything but not everything interests me. I really love all sorts of art, specially cinema, music and literature, having some activity (or attempt) at the latter two. I'm a huge fan of sports but mainly as a practitioner rather than a watcher - been skateboarding for as long as I remember watching my mustache grow on the mirror and recently started fencing. I also love watersports and everything that gives me a taste of freedom and adrenaline.
I'm also always up for a discussion, whether it is commenting on the latest events over cold pints of beer or debating everlasting philosophical issues on a sober mood. I love learning any subject from every subject, am keen on traveling, getting to know new cultures and exhausting the familiar ones.
But apart from being into my interests I'm also interested in escaping from them. Never lose an opportunity to have a crack at some absurd, futile nonsense whose only purpose is the crack itself, to forget all responsibilities and submerge into some stoned-drunk logic with my closest or newly-met friends.

Musically i've started with a feeble attempt to dominate the guitar and then bounced from the cello to the piano. I'm not an expert in any of these nor intend to be, but in all of them I seek a way to evolve in playing with others and to others. This summer I'll be taking up the Melodica and see out it works out, busking all over europe with a friend who plays the guitar

Oh, and I forgot. I'm a huge fan of summer rock music festivals, never lose a chance of going to one. So if you've ever been in one and fell for the great atmosphere...well, that's my kind of thing. Pleased to meet you

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The sportsmanship of Skateboarding, the laid-back mood of summer festivals (Paredes de Coura all the way!) and the thrill of traveling to the unknown

Teach, Learn, Share

"Happiness is only real when shared" - Book of the 1001 true cliches.

No restraints here at all. Everything that I can do or know I'd be thrilled to pass it on to whomever is interested. This can go from skateboarding, playing music, water juggling, cooking some portuguese dishes (still working on learning them myself, but hey, never heard of our typical macaroni and cheese? xD)
At the same time those who think like me know the joy that lies in sharing experiences as a "teacher" of your favorite subjects, so I'm also up to learn anything that might thrill you to teach. And I even mean gardening if that's what makes you sleep at night

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
