ABOUT ME

My name is Matthieu, I'm French and I live in Lille, a town located in nothern France.

Thanks to my studies, I had the opportunity to travel abroad. I did my first "big" trip alone in 2011 in Wellington, New-Zealand. From this moment, I understood I love travelling in order to discover a new country and its culture and traditions, but above all to meet people from all over the world. Then, I spent 5 months in Dublin, Ireland, as an Erasmus student (exchange programme for european students).

Besides going abroad, climbing has been my main passion for many years, that's why I climb as much as I can. On top of that, it allows me to meet lots of funny and nice people when I'm abroad.

I'm a new CouchSurfer so I don't have any Couchsurfing experience so far

As I written previously, I'm interrested in climbing, travelling, meeting people (mainly foreigners), hanging out with friends and enjoying life :-)

I have to admit that I don't read lots of book, because I'm not really fond of reading.

However, I like watching movies. One of my favourite ones are "Inception", "Kick ass", "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, "The boat that rocked", "The dark knight", "Drive", "Pulp fiction" and "Astérix mission cléopatre", "La cité de la peur" and "Les poupées russes" as French movies.

I like almost all types of music. Here is a list of bands and singers I like: The Fugees, Prettu lights, Red hot Chilli Peppers, Muse, Louise attaque, Birdy nam nam, Bob Marley, Coldplay and the list goes on...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The very first time in my life I took the plane it was to go to New-Zealand, that is to say a 30 hours trip.
Ok, perhaps it's not that amazing, but when I did it, for me it was :-)
