ABOUT ME

Joining Couchsurfing definitly changed my life. I was travelling with my backpack in New-Zealand and decided to join couchsurfing after hearing lots of great sotries about it. I was already dreaming about living on a boat that I found the profil of someone very inspirational who was living on his sail boat. He hosted me for a night and since I was eager to learn about sailling he proposed to take me out for the week end. So we took off sailing around one of the island around this beautiful New-Zealand. After that, my mission was to find a boat to sail to one of the pacific Island. So I did some research and found an other web site where I could join a sailboat for free, so I could learn more. I met this captain and through him I met and other guy! I was explaining my plan about sailing to Fiji or to one of the pacific island and he told me that he was thinking about Fiji for this year!!!
A month later I received his call to confirm that we were really going to Fiji!!! My dream was becoming reality! We left NZ in May and spent 20 days at sea. 20 days of quietness, looking and the infinite horizon and deep blue water. Once in Fiji I had the chance to share lots of time with Fijian and leanr their way of living and their culture. We finally left this sweet little town a month later to sail and explore and find the paradise for the following 2 months.

I had the time of my life 
And It’s only the beginning !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Crossing the pacific in a 33 foot sail boat! I learn so much in those 20 days at sea. You learn that things have to be done, you can count only on yourself or on your partner because you are all alonde in this huge sea. You learn patience, you learn team work , you learn to be gratefull and to enjoy nature. Ive never seen so many stars in my life then in the middle of the ocean!
