About Me

I just finished my second master degree in digital arts (the first one was about scientific communication). Here and now comes the time to leave France and discover people, new places, new ways of life, and learn from it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Many friends told me about their couchsurfing experiences, both as travelers or hosts. I really like their stories so I would like to experience some by myself, when I'll have enough time and money to travel.
If I had one goal in life, it should be "raise people's curiosity". But first I have to begin with mine.

Interests

As global topics : arts, sciences, their interactions with society, society, cyberpunk, nature and cooking.

I'm in love with music, as a listener and composer. I like to explore ambient and drone landscapes, (dub-)techno beats, post-rock stories, jazz-fusion sounds, and a lot of other fields under 135bpm.
Here are few randomly sorted names : Tim Hecker, Arca, Portico Quartet, BBNG, Tortoise, Hydergine, Mulatu Astatke, Andy Stott, Alva Noto, BoC, John Zorn (especially his Books of Angels), Battles, Deepchord, ...

I also like movies and film-making, especially documentaries. Some names : A. Tarkovsky, J. Rouch, G. Reggio, W. Herzog, ...

I keep reading scientific discoveries and controversies, especially in these fields : physics, space exploration, environment, energy, health, epistemology, IT things, and of course social studies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some friends and me have written and made a 3min movie during a 12h Sofia-Istanbul night train trip.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm pretty nerdy about human-machine interactive stuff, from DIY MIDI interfaces to Kinect. I built a few ones and I like to speak about how it works.
I'm kind of curious of relationships between people and what they do (work, creations, handworks, sports, daily stuff...).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Words, sentences, experiences, ideas, meals, depending of your availability.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey, United States
