About Me
***Please read my profile carefully before you request to stay. I have a secret subject you should mention in your request. Im not hosting people who not take the time to read why I'm on Couchsurfing. Looking forward to meet interesting people but im not a free hotel. Unfortunately I don’t host male guests who have zero references or to little information in their profile for safety reasons. I also don’t meet up with men as a date. CS is not a dating app!!***
Current mission: Be happy! Or satisfied. Love the little things in life, meet new people, learn new things, not be afraid of the unknown and see the world!!!
About me: I am the busy type. I work as a freelance workshop teacher (multi-media, art, design) also I work at different exhibitions spaces (MU, Museum Helmond, STRP festival) I'm an artist, illustrator, costume designer, performer, writer etc etc!
I started my own YouTube channel during the pandemic. There’s a lot of travelling on there and also about how I make my art. I also built my own camper van, so I have a lot of video about that too! Take a look and let me know what you think about my videos! It’s in Dutch but with English subtitles.

About sport: I'm Dutch so I bike everywhere and in the mornings I like to wake up and do a little bit of meditation, yoga and fitness. I like hiking but mostly do this on my own, I like what happens in my mind when I do this alone. But I can handle going on a hike with other people :)
Due to a medical condition I got really afraid of water. I trained myself and now am very proud to say I can snorkel. Totally fell in love with it, but the anxiousness is still there. Really hope i get so relaxed with water I can someday dive! I just love the way it feels underwater, feels like flying! And I'm crazy about the wildlife in our oceans.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to meet people from different nationalities. Such a great way to discover a new city. When I CS it feels like meeting a friend I never knew I had! My house is always open for friends who need a place to stay.
Couchsurfing emphasizes my love for people. It makes me realise that humans are beautiful in all their differences. There is no need to concentrate on these differences but instead be smart and learn from it. Know that there is no need to be afraid of new people and experiences, just be mindful that bad things can happen. Stay positive and live your life and everything you do out of love!

Music is a must in life! Love all kinds of music: old stuff (ABBA, Blondie, CCR, Fleetwood Mac, B52's, Crosby, stills..., Bowie, Iggy Pop) lots of 80's stuff (new wave, punk) the heavy stuff (Slayer, Bolt thrower, Macabre, Obituary) the really old stuff (Ella Fitzgerald, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Harry Belafonte) songs I can shake my butt to (Reggeaton!!) newer stuff (Idles, the national, Future Islands, LCD, Hercules & the love affair, Arcade Fire, the Kills) Guilty pleasure (Katy Perry, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Miley ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We did a tour with my artist collective in Ireland. That was the most crazy thing I have ever done! With the 6 of us in a too small car traveling round Ireland in 6 days. We had a show with weird art performances and made a lot of people smile and maybe terrified :)
Travelled through Europe with my self build van for three months. It’s was not all fun and games but it was very hard work and interesting. I learned a lot about myself and that’s always a win!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm trying to learn Spanish. Need help with that!
I love cooking, would love to share that with other people. My speciality is Mexican (vegan) taco's! Lets share our knowlage and exhange recepies. I love making a good breakfast, porridge or eggs and beans.
I'm a vegetarian my whole life, but eat vegan 50% of the time. I eat eggs and cheese sometimes. I love to eat healthy but also have a sweet tooth. I'm enjoying life so that means eating healthy meals with lots of beers! I'm crazy about special beers like IPA, Blond trappist, tripple trappist and Weisse!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Because of my need to organise events I know where the cool stuff is in my hometown. We have nice museums, the design Academy is located in Eindhoven so lots of creative minds here! Love to share it with other people!
