ABOUT ME

I am a Finnish photographer in my 20's, based in Helsinki. I work as a waiter and a bartender. Amongst photography I'm also in various other artistic projects, such as my musical studies. I love life and being around people. I don't like to stay in one place for too long, though Helsinki and my other hometown Paris will always be the places in which I find myself home. I'm always up for something new! It'd be nice to know you, whoever you are to read this!

Interests

I want to experience the world! The greatest intrest I have is in art, as it is the one thing that guides my comings and goings. I want to meet new people and learn about their lives across the world. This is also a big part of my aims in my photography and other artistic work. I'm interessed in history and philosophy, as they tell me about cultures and people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into sooo many kinds of music I don't dare to start listing:D I'd love to circle around indie music festivals some time, a year or two in musty jazz bars wouldn't be so bad either..

films have also ever been one of my most important inspirations. I'm a visual being and I have seen some lifechanging thins on screen I can't descibe.. Classics like the new wave throughout Europe, Luc Besson, Mathieu Kassovitz, Pedro Almodovar, Stanley Kubrick, Roman Polanski and some of the visual genioues I should mention: Anton Cobrijn, Xavier Dolan, Steve McQueen, Lars VonTrier.. also Woody Allen, Ridley Scott, David Lynch, Quentin Tarantino...

Ashamed to say, I'm not a very good reader. I'd love to be, since I've found some of my very closest emotions through literature, I just don't find the effort among all these visual artforms (I still have thousands of films to see, more coming every week or so)But I am collecting myself a book shelf, one by one there's one more to read..:D

Well I can do photography, and also very much other kind of artistic stuff like graphics, layout design etc, also sewing. I'm good with my hands so when I was little I did models of airplanes, cars and ships, also not a bad carpenter. I know how to sail since I spent my childhood on the sea. I'm a cook by education and work as a waiter and I know how to tend a bar.
