About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to visit as many places as possible. To make friends all over the world. To write.
ABOUT ME
I'm a very outgoing person, who likes to socialize, have a good laugh, meet new people and make new friends. I like to explore places and see cultural differences. I'm not afraid to try new things and my humour is always at its best.
I'm 23 and I'm a teacher of the Dutch language, living in Rotterdam.
I'm a fanatic handball player, trainer and coach, so that takes in most of my time. I also like to write and cook.
PHILOSOPHY
You're never fully dressed without a smile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like surfing/hosting, but since I'm quite the lone ranger, I rather go to events and fly out on my own afterwards.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I CouchSurfed once in Montpellier three summers ago for a weekend and I've gained some experience as a host while I lived in Amsterdam. I enjoyed both but hosting is not possible in the students home I live in now.
I really like going to events when I'm abroad. I don't have much time to visit the ones in Rotterdam because of work etc, but when I'm traveling I like meeting new people there.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to many kinds of music, but the old classics, hiphop/r&b and latin are my go-to genres, even though there is no particular artist I'm a fan of.
My all time favorite artists are Pentatonix, Damien Rice and Neon Trees.
I mostly read Dutch literature, for that is part of my profession, but I also enjoy reading some crazy, 'out-of-this-world' science fiction every now and then.
When it comes to movies I don't really have any preferences.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While in Tunisia, I stayed with the family of a friend in their small village in the middle of nowhere. We couldn't really communicate for I didn't speak a word Arabic but they hosted me like I was their own child and showed me around. They were proud of their village and had all the right to be; the nature was just breathtaking and sleeping outside under an amazingly starlit heaven was really astonishing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know so many drinking games and I love playing Cards Against Humanity. I'm also really into going to karaoke bars.
Apart from that I'm really interested in the way languages work, so I'm open to teaching and learning any language.
Furthermore, I've always wanted to be able to play the guitar or any other instrument.
