About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy what the world has to offer and help others

ABOUT ME

I am a young, energetic and funny guy who wishes to expand its horizons beyond his hometown. I have only ever lived in Montreal. However, I have traveled before in my life, but only too rarely at my own pace in my own destinations. I beleive the best way to travel is to live, drink and eat with locals, I wish to experiment everyday life in other countries, meet dynamic and entertaining new people to share with!
I want to take the time to take a quick break from my studies before delving deeper into the mysteries of the human machine! I am truly passionate about my field of study (pharmacology, cancer, cell biology) and love to teach to anyone who's curious enough.
I love hanging around, have a good, easy time, laugh my heart out and make others laugh just as much.

PHILOSOPHY

I have a tendency to be on the pragmatic and rational end of the specter. Although that doesn't keep me from having dreams and striving to fulfill them and get amazed by my surroundings.

Live your life the way you intend.

Don't inflict what you wouldn't suffer.

Take everything with a smile.

Be mindful of others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since my first Couchsurfing experiences as a host and often times as a guest, I realized that CS really is the absolute best way to travel. I have had the immense opportunity to be hosted by some amazing people which made my times abroad that much more enjoyable (and creating some lasting friendships in the meantime) that I want to make sure people can have the same luck I had. Montreal is a beautiful and lively city all year round and I want to help my fellow earthlings enjoy it as much as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted a couple of times some years ago but had to stop for some time due to location issues, until now! I always had a good time with my guests and I want to get back to it! It makes the apartment come to life and I love how respectful and generous Couchsurfers can be, myself included. I have had some awesome experiences and life-lasting memories of my times as guests mostly around Europe. Met some amazing people, and that's all that counts!

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock on!
I'm mostly into Indie, alternative, rock and electro music, but that doesn't keep me from exploring and enjoying new stuff. I have recently developed an interest for classical music too. I am not in anyway a connoisseur, but I enjoy having a soundtrack to my everyday life. I wish to know what's yours! Music really reveals who you are.

On the book front, I love comic books, fantasy series (à la Lord of the Rings or Song of Ice and Fire) among others. Though I rarely stop and take the time to read nowadays, but when I pick up a book, I usually have a hard time puting it down, you're free to interpret this piece of information!

I love watching movies and TV series. Among my all time favorite (widely known) movies would be the LotR trilogy, the Dark knight Trilogy, Pulp fiction, Arrival, Blade Runner 2049 and many more, but again, I would watch nearly every and any movie. On the TV series end, Community is by far at the top. Following it would be Rick and Morty, Community, House, Weeds, The Office, Hannibal, Six feet under, How I met your Mother, True Blood to name only a few.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It will stay forever engraved in my memory that while on a trip in Iceland I had drank some glacier water on the top of an active volcano... How cool does that sound?

Teach, Learn, Share

I wish to tell you about my beloved city, about the richness of our french heritage and culture and our way to preserve it. I wish to teach you our beautiful and colorful French language.
I am science and tech savvy for those with such interests.
I am also a homebrewer, so very passionate about beer and other alcoholic beverages, if you let me I can blab about it for hours on end.

In return I wish to know about your culture, your habits, your language, your food and especially your drinks!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook, I can talk science, politics, anything really! I am pretty laid back, easy going yet dynamic. I am very curious and interested. If you're passionate about something, I want to know about it and be contaminated by your passion.
