Overview
About Me
Completing a graduate degree in Geology at Western Washington University and working as a Geology instructor. Have traveled a healthy amount and often take advantage of time-off by travelling and visiting old friends abroad.
I love people and conversation. I could easily waste a day talking to the right person.
Will eat just about anything and go just about anywhere. Never been one to stress over particulars.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I feel AirBnB has contributed a great deal to ruining the housing market and promoting houselessness. I believe that the act of making money off of the human right to housing is unethical and harms community. I hope that offering my space to others will help to promote a culture of community and socialism for all personalities and identities.
Interests
I like walking, watching films and reading. Music has been a constant therapy for me. Again, I rarely shy away from a good conversation and am a total socialite. And I spend a lot of time sleeping outside in the woods.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Finally made it through E.T. without crying.
Teach, Learn, Share
Walking is important. I walk to make time to be intentionally inefficient. I walk to digest ideas and concerns. I walk to meditate and center myself in this chaotic world.
From my favorite director:
"I will tell you what I have learned myself. For me, a long five or six mile walk helps. And one must go alone and every day." - Carol Theodore Dreyer
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good company, fine stories and probably some hearty laughter. I may be able to field general geology questions on a case-by-case basis. Bellingham is a beautiful place, and I can surely show you around!
