ABOUT ME

Rutger is a really honest, fun, motivated, handy, adventurous person. He says what he thinks. Everything he does, he wants to do good, that's why he's good at his job and he really likes it.

Saskia is a sweet, fun, adjustable, easygoing and adventures person. Would like to learn more Spanish. Likes to conquer her fears.

In Holland we are both just graduated before we left. Rutger did Product Design and I did Communication. When we come back we will have a big big party with all of our friends first, but after that we will start looking for a job and an appartment in our city; Utrecht.

I was a babysitter a few times a week besides writing my thesis, I love kids. Rutger already has some experience as a Product Designer in a small company.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

From now till the end of april we will be looking for a host in Brazil and Argentina. When we come back to Holland in may we will rent a appartment in Utrecht and than we can be a host too!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We just started on couchsurfing so we don't have any experience yet, but let the experiences begin! We did sleep with local people in Lima and loved the experience.

Friends
Can't live without your friends! We have a big group of friends where we like to cook, talk, party and hang out with.

Travelling
This is our first long trip, but we are alreay planning which parts of the world we want to visit more! We meet great people, do awesome things and see the most beautiful places. Music & Party's:)
In our free time we love going to party's and in the summer we go to a lot of festivals, also in Germany (Fusion, Nachtdigital, Melt). Music is really important to us. Rutger buys a lot of Vinyl Records from all different kind of music styles and sometimes he plays at a party. Last one was in Amsterdam.

Motorbikes
We love motorbike riding too! I sold my motorbike (suzuki gsx-r) before this trip, but I will definately buy a new one when I have money. In the meanwhile we rented motorbikes during the trip and got a lot of experience already. We love the MotoGP as well and we always visit one Grand Prix in Europe each year. Saskia is a volunteer at the MotoGP in Holland (TT-Circuit) for 9 years. She works in the presscentre there. This is the sector where I want to work in.

We drove to the Machu Picchu from Cusco on two motorbikes in rainy season, a big challenge and a life time experience!
