About Me

ABOUT ME

I am one of those wierd people who finds joy in running. I spend too much time rock climbing. Anything that keeps me active and outdoors is great! Exploring a new area usually means finding a brewpub and checking out a local band or poetry slam. I appreciate art but am the least artistically talented person you will ever meet. I break bones like a 90 year old woman. I like to smile and dance...I can usually manage doing both at the same time. I always say I am going to take more picutes...I never remeber to. I like to cook, especially if I have people to cook for...its usually edible.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy the journey.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love discovering new music. Folk tends to be my favorite- but I listen to a bit of everything and will check out any live music in the area.
I dont watch a lot of tv or movies but espn is usually what i flip to if Im in a house with a tv.
My dream is to have a library in my house...I think I would be willing to give up a living room for it. Great books I have read recently: Theology of the Body, Called to Love, Neither Here Nor There, Between Heaven and Mirth, The Gift of Imperfections, and I finally got to Life of Pi.
Any books I have to read before I die? I love getting new suggestions!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am fortunate I work with people who have TBIs and spinal cord injuries, I am constantly amazed by their strength. I just had the opportunity to walk one of my patients down the aisle at her daughters wedding, that was pretty amazing.
