We both finished our studies in Business Administration (Fabian) and Special Education (Alexandra). We are a young couple at a turning point in our life. But before things get serious we want to travel all around the world (or the majority of it ;) , live our lives as intesive as possible and meet interesting people on this trip.

We're always open for new situations, people, feelings and experiences. We're very open minded, frankly and friendly. Also we are uncomplicated and easy to handle.

If you could show us around a little in your hometown, that would be awesome, but we also don't mind if you give us the opportunity to stay at your place solely and that's it. We're fine with both ways of handling us, but of course we'd love to get to know you and the way you live as much as possible. We enjoy a nice and relaxing evening (watching a DVD at home, going to the movies, having a delicious meal, going for a walk, etc). But on the other hand, we also like some action like hiking, snwoboarding, surfing, longboarding, climbing, having a trip or whatever you guys are up to =)

PHILOSOPHY

Live our lives and make the best out of every situation. Try to not miss out on anything and enjoy as much as possible, even if this means to bear some challenges here and there.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Open to host people in our home in Mainz and show them around here. But also we love to surf couches! =)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We both got single accounts on couchsurfing, but for our journey around the world which started in August 2013, we thought it is easier to have a profile for us as a couple. Me (Fabian) made positive experiences with couchsurfing only. During my studies in the USA I surfed a couch in Miami. We (my host Michael and I) had a tremendous stay together in August 2011. I came back to his place with Alex where we spent christmas together. And (of course) our first destination of our trip this year is Miami, where we'll visit him again.
A girl surfed my couch in Mainz in 2011. She was there for an interview to get a place to study in Mainz. My friends and I supported her with all we had to make the study interview succesful.... and now she really studies in Mainz.
My (Alexandra) experiences with couchsurfing were just perfect as well. I surfed in Berlin with my younger brother at a Guys apartment for 4 days and he was a very caring host. He showed us his hood and his favourite places. It was absolutely amazing! We had a lot of fun together and are still in contact. That's what I really admire about couchsurfing: you can make very good friends all over the world and explore and expand your own horizon every single time. we both had many other experiences with couchsurfing, but we do not want to write too much, because at a certain point enough is enough ;-)

To conclude our experiences: we are absolutely addicted and are looking very much forward to meeting as many different people as possible.
