Born in the Pacific Northwest. Spent many formative years in the UK. High school in Montana. Pursuing greater knowledge at a Jesuit institution in the ever rainy Emerald City.

Love, LOVE, seeing new places, people, and things and learning about them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a residence hall so Hosting is pretty much out of the question. I joined to learn fun things about where I was living and to have cheap/free living arrangements and travel encouragement.

I grew up on HP and LOTR. I enjoy Barbara Kingslover, Ursula Le Guin, Tamora Pierce, John Green, Kerouac, HG Wells and the non-fiction ramblings of Mary Roach, Kant, Thoreau, and Steven Johnson. These are just what I could recall reading recently.

I listen to a fair amount of Folk, Indie-Rock. That stuff is easy to learn on my guitar and uke.
As a resident of Seattle, Macklemore has inevitably entered my wheelhouse.

I love -LOVE- movies. I honestly couldn't even being to list them.
