ABOUT ME

I'm a dreamer who wants to travel the world. As a kid growing up in Los Angeles, I always enjoyed going on road trips with my family. As I grew older my love for travel grew as well. In 2011, I lived and studied in Paris, France for 4 months, and it completely changed my life. My perception of things changed, I became more aware of the world and myself, and I met so many amazing people during my travels. I wanted that journey of exploration and self-discovery to continue, so in September 2013, I returned to France to teach English and am still currently living in Paris. I am hoping that my time here will lead to other travels and new experiences. In the meantime, my goal is to live in the moment, appreciate my family and friends, and be of help to others.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short to be stuck in one place. The world is too vast and too beautiful to leave undiscovered. I can't imagine leaving this earth without at least attempting to understand it. I want to see it all.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just recently joined couchsurfing, as I've heard nothing but good things about the community. As a recent college graduate, I want to utilize my free time to the fullest by travelling as much as possible. I am looking forward to meeting people, discovering new places, and hopefully hosting other couchsurfers in the future.

Interests

I love photography, playing guitar, singing, & traveling. Learning and practicing languages is also a passion of mine. Great food and good company is always wonderful.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movies are Before Sunrise and Before Sunset. Classic films, foreign films, independent movies, comedies are all great. I love all kinds of music ranging from The Beatles to The White Stripes, Nina Simone, Kings of Convenience, Billie Holiday, Neil Young, just to name a few. I love fiction and memoirs--Siddhartha, The Kite Runner, Just Kids, Where the Red Fern Grows are a few of the most memorable books that I've read.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning about different cultures and languages. I speak English, Spanish and French, and I would love to share these languages with others. Playing music with others is also something that I really enjoy doing--there's always something new to be learned and shared!
