About Me
I'm originally from Buenos Aires but I've been living in Berlin for over eight years. I'm working as a freelance producer in the arts, collaborating with several artists in exhibitions around the world. I love Berlin and I try to keep my eyes fully open whenever I'm around, as there's always new things to discover. I've always been curious about places I've never been and, of course, I'm a passionate traveller. I'm still amazed by the fact that when the sun goes down, it is rising somewhere else.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've always been very thankful to people's hospitality whenever I stayed at someone's place while travelling. I think that Couchsurfing is a great platform that celebrates an exchange that has been taking place in many cultures for centuries among people all over the world and updates this practice based on the wonders of the digital age.
Music, Movies, and Books
This one very hard. I admire great film directors such as Wenders, Bergman, Truffaut, Ozu, Martel...
In music I've had quite a few different periods, but I still keep the jazz and the mythical rock bands from my adolescence. Now I listen to experimental and indie bands, and other things I wouldn't know how to categorise.
I like reading literature and theatre plays too. South and North American authors are my favourites. I think Bradbury and Bioy Casares were the writers who inspired me even before I could realise they were doing so. I have a special urge to reading diaries and correspondence books from artists I like.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking to the top of a mountain, that was an interesting view of nature's work of art.
But i've never been on a roller coaster so i'm an incomplete person for now.
Teach, Learn, Share
Photography, film theory and history, basic sudoku. I need to learn how to draw and practice yoga maybe. Also meditate!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like the idea of sharing a meal as a small and simple ritual that connects people in a special way, even if they're not so familiar with each other. We're so used to discovering things through sight and sound, that sometimes we don't pay attention to the rest of our senses. Eating changes our rhythm and slows our minds, so it'd be a nice moment to share and enjoy together!
I'd love to hear what's special about the place you live, why you like it and what makes you feel at home there. I've also been told that I'm a good storyteller of my own life, so I'd be up for sharing some anecdotes too!
