CURRENT MISSION

Having a mission in life is probably not the best way to face it, unless it is something as "simple" as to keep going forward, growing as a person and as a professional. Which is exactly what describes me.

ABOUT ME

I can describe myself as a hard working guy, sensible and organized, while being amicable and very keen on helping people. Sort of simple and open-minded. Agnostic, although grown with christian education. Very fond of relaxed plans rather than expensive night crawls, but always keen on sharing some dinner or night times with friends. I love using intelligence to do jokes about everything and release tension or shyness in a conversation (Les Luthiers, an argentinian group of comedians, are my base for that). I can be stubborn at times, and I can't stand negative behaviours around me that can complicate my already complex life.

PHILOSOPHY

I need to do thousand things at the same time to feel productive
Check the number of friends you have in Facebook, and ask yourself if they truly are...
Do everything you can for your close friends
Respect and smile, two things that are always appreciated
I am happy when I see the friends that I let in and stay to improve my life, but I am happier when I notice that the improvement was even higher when I kicked out some others from my surroundings

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to be an active host while being in St Andrews (Scotland), and I would also like to take the chance to visit unknown countries by having any single possibility to stay in someone else's place for at least a day (at least to be in the place and scout further possible accommodations).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted eight people while in Scotland, and they all gave positive feedback about their stance. I didn't have much time to show people around, since my position in the university does not allow me to have much free time, but I picked them up from the bus station, gave them indications and of course spent some time with them at home, trying to be as kind and gentle as possible. They all had a private room and a proper bed for sleeping. I am really willing for more people to come here temporarily if they enjoy such time of accommodation, to keep increasing my experience as a host.

音乐、电影和书籍

Instrumental soundtracks are my life. There's nothing I enjoy more than that. About films, I normally enjoy science fiction movies to evade from my normal reality ("Tron Legacy"), but any with deep feelings or complicated plots are suitable ("Finding Forrester","Seven Pounds"...). For some time I haven't read any book (too busy), but now I'm dealing with "The cloud atlas"

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My life has no real amazing things to show.
Perhaps I can say that people I've met shortly and who managed to visit me for a couple of days never regretted my company, and leaving days have been normally very emotional for them, remarking that even spending few days with me were enough to make them really "love" me. That's a gift for me, and probably the most amazing thing I would like to keep on enjoying in my life.

I can teach spanish to people (I've done so in several ocassions). Apart from that, you never know what you can show to people until you get to know them, so that's something to discover when being face to face.
