I decided to give CS a try when i was staying in the Netherlands. I love meeting new places and cultures. I'm a somewhat typical tourist, as in I like to do all the cultural stuff, but I'd definitely choose an old small town or a natural park over a big busy city.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm staying in Nijmegen for a month. I always like to meet local people from the places I'm visiting so I thought CouchSurfing would be a good try :) I haven't met almost any Dutch people so far, which is a bit disappointing. While I'm staying in Nijmegen I really want to have the best experience possible, to visit the historical places, getting to know all that's worth it and enjoying the nightlife as well! So let me know in case you're around and got nothing better to do haha

Music, Movies, and Books

I like cinema and music that bring new ideas and different ways of looking at things. I try to consume as many documentaries, short-films and odd animation as I can. As for fiction feature films, I guess some of my favourite titles would be Lars von Trier's Melancholia, Shame and The Time that Remains.

Musicwise, it's (almost) all about progressive rock. And then some jazz. And maybe some ambient too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few years ago I was in Costa Rica and discovered the thrill of canopy right in the heart of a cloudforest.

I can teach you some Portuguese, if you're feeling brave enough :)
If you've never cooked a vegan meal and wonder what it would be like then I can come in handy as well.
I have done a small massage course. People seem to regard that as a very useful skill.
