We are semi retied still busy building in Cape Town. We lve travelling but dont have much time to travel at this stage.

PHILOSOPHY

You become what you think about. We choose to be positive,find joy and happiness in what we do and see. I am a Christian and believe in treating people the way I would like to be treated, with love and respect.

We love to interact with fellow travelers, sharing meals, cook together and learn from other cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We are still friends with our first Host Ingrid from Germany and a young German couple.
We spend some time with CS in Switzerland as well.Lost contact with them unfortunately. ur first CS came from Spain. We moved to Cape town and are busy building at the moment so not a lot of space for CS.
We moved to Cape Town...not much space currently to host ...busy building.

Interests

I love travelling, hiking,camping,river rafting, any outdoors activities...Also loves animals,photography,art,culture,music,cooking/baking,
reading and just chilling...love animals as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking in deep snow for the first time, seeing the castle of Neuschwanstein in the distance....sunset/sunrise in Mozambique,diving with manta Rays...cycling through The Nederlands and Germany with our small tent and all our luggage ( we travel light!)Hiking up Mount Pilatus, eating Black forest cake in Freiburg and Titisee...eating Slovaki in Santorini...bliss!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love the cultural exchange thing...learn more about your country...past and present, love cooking...would love to prepare food with you, would love to make you a real South African dish as well...(and leave the recipe if you like it ) Would like it if you teach me to make some traditional food from your country.
