Hello Couchsurfing community,
Once upon a time, there was a little girl growing up in a little village called Olivares, in the warm and beautiful south of Spain. I’ve always been a curious person, that’s why I’ve been living abroad since an early age.
The most memorable experience I ever had was when I did the EVS (European volunteer service) in Germany. It was the first experience I had of living abroad. I went by myself so everything and everyone was a new discovery for me. To start with I had to learn the language as difficult as it was I successfully achieved it! I loved the fact of my classmates being from all over the world. It was very enriching to learn about their different cultures and countries. There I worked for environmental awareness towards young people and children of all backgrounds. We would organize all sorts of activities with the aim to create environmental awareness. In a nutshell, my time in Germany taught me not only a language but also a new way of life.
Then I went to London where I spent 11 precious years. There I became the woman I am today. It’s in my heart, in my blood and I’ll be forever thankful for all the knowledge and experience that London gave me. I will always come back home.
Currently, I’m in the middle of a new adventure traveling in Asia ❤️
