Overview
About Me
I am Deniz and I live in Ankara, Turkey. I am studying political science and public administration in there and it will be my last year.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of my close friends from Turkey is an active user of this web site. He has traveled many places. I learned the existence of couch surfing from him but I have never tried to use it. Because unfortunately I do not have enough time for traveling. But when I travel somewhere I don't like "touristic" experiences. I believe travelling is like a reading a book. People can see different practices, understanding and perceptions about life. It is a better way of learning and sharing. I am on couch surfing because I want to be a traveler instead of being a tourist. And I think this website is not for finding a free room. It is for sharing cultures and experiences.
Interests
I like politics both practical and theoretical bases, social sciences, philosophy and art especially literature and music. I want to learn how to do yoga and how to ride a bike- yea my bad, when I was a child I was so shy and I have not learned it yet - besides after I return to my country I want to take courses for both french and playing dulcimer.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have an really eclectic music taste so this is a hard question for me :)
I like Fellini, Coen brothers, Trier and Bergman. On the other hand, I like Russian, German and French literature. Gogol, Hesse and Camus can be good examples.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I cannot determine one amazing thing I have done easily because everyday I am trying to learn new things and to improve my existence in some senses so realizing this progressive understanding is amazing I guess.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am open to share my knowledge and I will be glad to learn from you too. I think in order to learn or teach something people do not have to be " professional". It is just sharing and everyone can learn/teach something to each other.
