ABOUT ME
I like to have fun, but my idea of fun may not fit the norm. I like reading when I have time, but prefer writing fiction. I'm goofy. I love listening to music and finding songs that fit my mood. I wish I could play instruments better than I can. I enjoy knitting almost as a form of meditation. I feel awkward filling this out.
PHILOSOPHY
Everything in life is about how you relate to it. I value a respectful openness to novel experience, humility, and those who do not judge above all else.
Apart from that, all I am certain of is laughter.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment, I'm in a transitional period as far as residence as I try to find a job somewhere. So my participation is more on the surfing end of the spectrum (at least for the time being). It seems like all the coolest people I know are CS members and I love how easy the project makes it to enjoy travels on a whole new level by meeting new and interesting people at your destination. People who serve not only as potential tour guides, but also as potential friends.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed with 6 hosts across the US, but haven't yet had the opportunity to surf overseas. hah... surf overseas. I haven't a single complaint thus far.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I climbed Half Dome in Yosemite National Park (CA, USA), thus quashing any fear of heights.
My girlfriend and I went on a 45 day Amtrak trip around the perimeter of the US... couchsurfing here and there.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could talk your ear off about different primate species or different linguistical phenomena. I find both fascinating.
What fascinates you? Teach me.
