ABOUT ME

Currently working for a Czech NGO People in Need, living in Prague with fantastic people and having a kind of settling down period of life - which never lasts for long in my case (as change is the only constant). I'm into people's stories, I like to listen to them, I like to watch people talking about what they love and what worries them. I absorb the beauty I see around me, because it grows creativity in me. I wish I could find more time for writing and visual storytelling.

PHILOSOPHY
I believe you can reach anything in your life if you believe it, and if you are ready to do whatever it takes to make your dream come true. And I believe in freedom. And love. Life is full of misery (injustice and wars and fears), but one has to love and be brave and believe in people, as it's the only thing that can save us from that misery.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I don't have the possibility to host anyone, but soon I hope I will, because giving is a never-ending chain. I find this whole idea of staying with locals while traveling a fantastic thing that levels-up not just your experience from the place, but it also deepens your knowledge about where you are and how broad the world is.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been couchsurfing three times until now, twice in southern France and once in Dresden, Germany. Every stay was a wonderful experience that I will never forget.

Interests

Oooh, many! Loving life means being interested in it (and honestly, there is nothing more interesting than life itself :)). I love writing (I´d like to write for a newspaper for living), i love watching people, wondering about their life missions, i love listening to good music while drinking wine, i love walking in the mountains and through the streets of cities and towns and - not surprisingly - I love being with my friends, whether laughing at something or discussing politics and philosophy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I grew up on metal, however, now I´m much more into jazz (mostly modern jazz and fusion), progressive rock (I like invention and creativity in rock music, not just listening to something you can easily expect), I found my way to electronic music, I like bossanova, samba and tango, and obviously (don´t forget I am Czech) I love classical composers like Dvořák and Smetana, and also Beethoven, Grieg, Chopin, Khachaturian and many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 15 I wrote the script for the musical! My best friend made music and all the friends from my class took part in the play :)) Since then I know that nothing is impossible and that if you love something and do it with passion, you WILL make it, no matter how difficult it may appear!

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe everyone we meet has something inside that can learn us something new. Personality is not static. It is a never ending flow of changes and if we stay open, every single day we can become richer, than we were yesterday!
