Hey there,
I'm just after joining this so sorry for the lack of references - I joined years ago and then never actually used it. I'd describe myself as happy, sociable, outgoing, and up for adventures. I get on easily with people and would like the chance to travel and meet people from the area so couchsurfing is ideal.
I'm big into music ...I sing and play guitar (not so handy on the guitar but I can get by). Looking forward to meeting new people through this! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing to meet people - to make travelling easy and more enjoyable! En ce moment j'ai envie d'ameliorer mon francais. J'ai passé une année la-bas il y a des années mais de nos jours j'ai plus occasion en Irlande de l'utiliser donc je suis venue en France pour le practiquer le plus possible.

Books: Just finished 'The Human Stain' by Philip Roth -an amazing book. I love haruki murakami's book, some books I really like are - 'The Sea, The Sea' by Irish Murdoch, 'Of Mice and Men'-Steinbeck, 'Never Let me Go' by Kazuo Isiguro, 'The lncredible Lightness of Being' by Milan Kundera, 'Shantaram', 'Sapiens' by Yuval Noah Harari, 'The remains of the day' by Isiguro, 'Moby Dick', 'Transatlantic'...Although I'm not reading as much these days - the internet gets in the way too often these days.

Music: Tom Waits, Neil Young, Louis Armstrong, John Lee Hooker, Bonobo, Chequerboard, Penguin Café, Yann Tiersan, Philip Glass, Xavier Rudd, Lemon Jelly, Manu Chao, Tinariwen, LCD soundsystem, Damon Albarn, Declan O Rourke, Kila.....and lots lots more

Films : Lives of others, Rust and Bone, The Prophet - Jacque Audiard- all of whiplash, cinema paradiso, eternal sunshine.....jaysus, i can never think of films. i like films that make you think or laugh and preferably not smartass american!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Was an actor before I started teaching and was nominated for An Irish Times acting award for a part I had in a Shakespeare play (opening the paper that day was a wonderful moment).
