Music: a bit of everything, besides heavy metal and the most comercial music maybe.
Movies: rather quiet movies with an interesting plot, not so much action or horror movies.
Books: Historical novels and anything that's written nicely. My favourite at the moment: Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts

Teaching a class of about 70 kids who didn't really speak the same language as me and (nearly) beeing taken serious :)
