Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Did you notice that I am a graduate student? The amount that I make does not allow me to stay in 5 star hotels during conferences. However, financial woes aside, traveling is not just about seeing the world but experiencing a new perspective on this thing we call Earth. Being able to interact with locals allows for an insight from someone with a unique experience in the city.

When I'm not biking to and from lab or cooking up some delicious pad thai, I spend my days painting or playing soccer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I see couples traveling, I offer to take their photo so they can remember they shared the trip with someone they loved.
