ABOUT ME

Millionaire. Genius. Liar.

Okay, not really. I'm actually pretty normal, if by "normal", you mean the kind of person who will wear a fake neck brace while hanging out of a limo and shouting with glee. I have actually never done that. But I totally would. I try to make life as interesting as possible--but don't worry, I'm not a lunatic. Open minded, liberal and constantly on the look-out for something new and cool to dig into, I'm addicted to travel and indulge whenever I can.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in embracing each day as it comes, learning from mistakes and doing the "right" thing, even if it's hard. That being said, I still know how to have a helluva good time. I adore every friend I have, relish the presence of interesting strangers and do my best to bring joy to the people in my life, even if that just means buying them a hot dog at three in the morning or nicknaming their cat "Bonethug".

Art, Culture, History, Travel, Writing, Comedy, Nature, Science, Music, Nightlife, Cooking, Pretending to know about wine,giggling exuberantly,making strangers laugh,making every day an adventure, dancing for hours at a time, cuddly animals, saucy intellectual banter (yeah, I said "saucy") Finding hidden treasures and a whole bunch of other stuff.

Movies: I adore anything by the Cohen Brothers, Wes Anderson, Charlie Kaufman or, my personal favorite, Paul Thomas Anderson. Boogie Nights is an unsung classic. I'm also a sucker for dark comedies and psychological thrillers.

Music: Alright, here's where I come dangerously close to sounding like an insufferable hipster. I adore music and I'm always discovering sweet jams. I like a bit of everything but gravitate toward the indie side of the street. Electropop, Melodic folk, Funk&Soul are some of my favs.

Books: I write em'. I also read em'. I'm a fiction kind of girl, though if a fascinating non-fiction book falls in my lap, I won't turn my nose up. Some of my favorite authors: Charles Bukowski, Hunter S. Thompson, F. Scott Fitzgerald, David Sedaris, Vladamir Nabokov and Brett Easton Ellis.

I lived in Seoul, South Korea for a year, which was pretty badass.
