About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see as much of the world as possible!

ABOUT ME

I'm a recent graduate of the University of Alabama and currently unemployed at the moment. I really want to make a living playing music so I'm interesting in moving to Nashville, Austin, Chicago or maybe even L.A.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you host me I'll do just about anything you ask. I pick up after myself and will not intrude into your personal space. I'll definitely buy you a meal or two as payback for the accommodations!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've yet to have one but I've heard great things!

Interests

Travelling and music are my two favorite things in the world. I've been a studious guitar player for the past 9 years, learning songs in many genre's including rock, blues, jazz, classical (nylon string), prog, funk...the list goes on. I love music festivals. I've been to Bonnaroo (5 times), The Hangout, Electric Forest, Voodoo, Lollapalooza and a couple really small ones as well. I also enjoy sports, particularly football and soccer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most music. Anything from Beethoven to Bassnectar; Lynyrd Skynyrd to Kendrick Lamar. Recently I've been listening to a lot of Phish. I haven't really gotten into country though. I was an English major so I've read a whole lotta books. If I had to recommend one right now, I'd go with A Confederacy of Dunces. Funniest book I've ever read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have travelled much in my life. My mother's a French teacher so I've been fortunate to visit France about 10 times now. I've been practically everywhere in that country.

Teach, Learn, Share

Travelling has opened my eyes to how false stereotypes can be about a particular country or region. Being a southerner, I've been stereotyped before and nothing make me happier than showing people that we're not all racist hillbillies.
You never know what a place is truly like until you've been there.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, England, France, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, United States
