About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make the world a really big home for everyone

ABOUT ME

I am a gal that enjoys meeting new friends and discover the world through their eyes. Traveling is a passion and it is my mission to see the world in time, but I'm a firm believer that before I enjoy the rest of the world, I should see everything that your country has to offer, because as what we all believe, it is MORE FUN in the Philippines...and this I truly believe in.

PHILOSOPHY

As an educator, I have learned that it is easy to learn something if you see things with a child-like attitude, that is, with awe and wonder :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couch surfing has opened an avenue for me to not only explore the world through the eyes of the locals, but to rediscover my very own country, and what my country has to offer to the world. Because of Couch surfing I have had not only new acquaintances and travel buddies, but as well as friends I could count on :) However in as much as I would want to return the favor of my hosts, I would only host surfers with complete profile.

Interests

I'm a foodie by heart and I cannot end my meal without a sweet note. Trying on desserts and trying to recreate it is one of my greatest passion, which is why I ended up putting up a small dessert store.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all types of music for as long as my ear can tolerate it. I do also find time to watch movies to keep me abreast with what my students watch, but comedy will always be on the top of my list. And as for books, I cannot put down a good book especially if I have to unravel a mystery.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I try to conquer my fears one step at a time. Jumping off a fire building, water rafting and swimming with a whale shark are some of the things I feel is amazing on my books.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have learned from my travels that for as long as I keep my mind open, I will enjoy the company I am with and I will learn new things from them. A definite must is a really good conversation about the way of life in a particular country.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Many of friends can attest that I am a good listener and conversationalist. I enjoy making desserts and preparing a good dessert is something I definitely would do for my host :)
