About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Discover and enjoy Planet Earth and its inhabitants!

ABOUT ME

I think the world is a fascinating place, so I try to learn as much about it as I can! That includes traveling, meeting new people, reading, asking questions, eating, enjoying art, studying, having good conversations...
I am currently working as a Spanish teacher in the US and I love my job! I truly enjoy sharing my language and culture with others and learning about how people see the world (and talk about it) in different countries and regions.
I am friendly, easygoing, positive, open minded and curious. The little things in life make me happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I have a spare room in my apartment in Scranton, Pennsylvania, so I would be happy to be a host!
I would like to see as much of the US as I can, so I will be looking for hosts too.
When I am in my hometown, Segovia (Spain) I love showing people around. Even when I am not living there I can give information and advice about local life! (what to visit, where to eat, events going on...)

Interests

Reading, traveling, listening to music, being with my family and friends, singing in choirs, playing the piano, hiking, swimming, cultural events, going to museums, having coffee, eating, teaching languages, watching movies, dancing, making gifts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year I spent a month walking the Camino de Santiago (St James' Way) in the north of Spain. I literally walked 500 miles and I would walk 500 more because it was an incredible experience! I met great people, saw beautiful landscapes, shared good meals, learned a lot about myself and had fun! It's been great to reunite with some of the friends I made there in Spain, Australia and the US.
