About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Getting to enjoy as much as possible of this endlessly interesting planet.
ABOUT ME
Passionate architect, I absolutely love everything about surrounding space, and I find great pleasure in getting to visit and experience as many of the buildings, spaces or cities that I really love and that I've been studying for years. I respect the past, and love the modern.
I like to explore different environments, public spaces, more private objectives (as opposed to many of the clichéic tourist attractions), different societies, new perspectives, narrow streets, famous boulevards. I love climbing the highest points, getting on top of buildings or hills everywhere I go, looking for the perfect view (despite having a slight fear of heights - paradoxically).
I'm a definite nature lover, and consider it - as Frank Lloyd Wright put it - as my church, with a capital N. I deeply enjoy a quiet moment on top of a hill.
Very passionate about cycling, both Road and Mountain Biking, I love the sense of accomplishment it gives for your efforts, conquering heights or distances with your own mere power and will. I like pushing my limits, and enjoy exploring countless places I wouldn't have found otherwise.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Not having a place of my own, it's kind of difficult to host people for now, but I would definitely enjoy the company and endless experiences that different people bring with them.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None so far, but looking forward towards a great "relationship" with CS.
Interests
Architecture - a big fan of public space and nature, two of the aspects that govern my philosophies - architectural visualisation, 3D modelling, architecture photography, long bike rides, big climbs on fresh tarmac or speedy descents on forest trails, pushing my limits, mountains, travelling, smoked salmon, French cheese and a glass of good red wine.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not a huge movie-buff, although I really enjoy watching a good movie or documentary, parts of our history, the lives of important people or more scientific stuff.
Music on the other hand is a big part of my life. I never work or travel without the songs that I love, or genres that I explore. Generally rock-oriented, I'm always impressed by classics from Pink Floyd, R.E.M. or Led Zeppelin, to our current-time Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys or Tame Impala. Also, I'm a big fan of more electro genres, down-tempo, reggae or rap, lots of genres that really make me tick. You can't fail with the sound of psychedelic guitar or a down-tempo hip-hop beat.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Crossing the Carpathian Mountains on my mountain bike, with absolutely no prior training, after a sleepless night, at 4 a.m., pitch-black darkness and with no exact idea of how much we've had to climb. It was simply one of the most psychologically intense, and rewarding achievements I had so far, and the real beginning of my cycling passion.
