ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm Fern! I like sunshine and picking blackberries and red wine and waking up and going to sleep and listening and sharing and dancing and meditating and creating and admiring and reading and dreaming and poi-ing and hooping and farming!

I live in a great spot in Bristol, surrounded by organic local shops and amazing quirky bars and restaurants.

PHILOSOPHY

I'd like to live completely sustainably, on my own farm or community, with a teaching and learning centre. I think it's important to prepare for this change that we are facing, to show people that we can no longer live in the way that is thought of as so normal but to create a change, to stop exploiting the earth and live in harmony with it.

Now I'm done with philosophy at uni free time will be all about traveling and learning! Sustainable living and green building techniques mainly, I'd also like to learn some ancient skills such as herbalism.

Seeing chicks hatch at Easter on a beautiful farm in Swindon is up there with every beautiful moment spent travelling!

DID YOU KNOW a single daisy is not a flower, it is a bunch of flowers! The white 'petals' and not petals but extensions of the stem and every yellow dot inside is it's own flower, with it's own petals! AND you can put the white 'petals' in salad!

I imagine I can share some knowledge on foraging and cooking or making drinks from your gatherings! As well as other little odd bits of knowledge! I would love to learn from the people I couch surf with about anything, I think we meet and learn in conjunction, they go hand in hand! When people are passionate about something they can't help but teach you and I love that!
